Quilters & Dirt Road Hikers!

This is what it's like when someone else steps in as supreme selfie taker!

Way to go Karen, you made my day so much easier!

This was yesterday's lunch served after we returned from our little dirt road hike.

It was such a beautiful morning - even a bit chilly, which just feels so crisp - as if fall really is right around the corner.

You remember, I"m sure, those mornings when school was back in full swing and what it feels like to step outside of the door in the cool air?  That kind of morning.  Perfection!

As was this easy simple salad lunch!

(Check out all the specialty oils and vinegars.  YUM!)

Hello, beautiful ladies!

Purple and gold blooming together!

Two speedy demons up there outpacing us -

Meanwhile, Karen is taking photos of me taking photos. Ha!

The rest of us stopping to say goodmorning to the cows.  LOL!

As I said - it was SUCH a beautiful morning!

Talking about ALL the things -

There's our parking spot - just ahead.

Thanks, Ladies!

I needed this walk - and I loved the company.

Afterwards, in the Quilting Quarters:  design walls are filling!

I spy Sugar Top in recycled shirts being made by Karen, and some Easy Street from MORE Adventures With Leaders & Enders in the making - and is that an Indigo Way block I see as well?

Some Scrappy Mountain Majesties form the Free Patterns tab is going on here!

Big String Quartet in selvages is happening here!

On a lime green Featherweight!

How about some Bitcoin in the making?

And the funny gift of the day from Charlotte -

It's a Y2K??

But specifically July 4th, 2000.

I've never seen this one! LOL!

As to my own day - Click to Play:

Did I get it together? Yes!

Taking the victory lap - back side up.

I've decided no borders. It just doesn't need it.  I'll just bindin a dark charcoal and call it done.

Name? Don't know.  Release date? Eventually!

Did it make a dent in the grey scraps? Not really.

Do I love it? ABSOLUTELY!

And yes - Diamond Tile will be released as I head off to Kenya. So my attention will turn to getting that written and taken care of so I can go with a clear conscience.

The pattern release of  Eclipsed has been absolutely phenomenal! Thank you!

The one thing I've had emails on is folks outside of the USA having trouble with the Buy Now button as it uses autofill and as they are international, they then get a message saying that we don't ship outside of the USA.

PDF patterns are not shipped. There is no problem if you simply add the item to the shopping cart, then click to the shopping cart and choose either your PayPal or Credit Card option.  It should process just fine from there. It has something to do with purchasing digital files with the BUY NOW button if you are international.

Do not use the Buy Now button.  Add the item to your cart and then click the cart and check out the normal way.

Sorry for the headache - but give this a try and see if it works for you.

Also - if you've downloaded and can't find where your PDF went on your device - do a SEARCH by pattern name. Most of my issues come from iPhone/iPad users who don't know where to look.

How to find a PDF on an iPhone in Files.

The broadest place to look for your PDF is in the Files app. You’ll be able to find it there if it’s on your iPhone.

  1. Open the Files app.
  2. Tap Browse > On My iPhone.
  3. Search your folders for the PDF.

It’s very likely that the PDF ended up in the Downloads folder, so search there first.

How to search for PDF files on an iPhone.

Using the search function on your iPhone might be one of the simplest ways to find the PDF that you’ve downloaded. Here are the steps for using the search function:

  1. Swipe down to find the search field.
  2. Enter the name of the PDF into the search field.
  3. Tap Show More to scroll further through searches.
I really hope this helps!

Would you like to win an Eclipsed PDF pattern?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

TGIF, folks! ⁣
Who else is ready for the weekend? ⁣
The appointments and mishaps this week had me totally misunderstanding an accepted dinner out with friends.⁣
I feel like such a heel for misinterpreting Thurs for Tues. They showed up, we did not.⁣
All is well, but I still feel like the absent-minded professor.⁣
Anyone else want to head into the Jumanji game for a time out?

My goodness your grey and yellow quilt is pretty. Looks like a really nice group of ladies.
Thank you for the walking pics. Beautiful day.
I'm working on Crazie Mazie and as you know I will be for awhile now.
I have to dig into my bushel basket for more strings.
Kisses to Mabel and Zoey please.
Have a Sparkling day
Blessings 🙏💞

Hi Bonnie, you have motivated me to use some of our old clothes in a quilt, but it's taking me forever to rip out all the seams. Do you rip, or just cut along seam lines and call it good? Thanks, Lynne

Can't wait for the new one to come out as a pattern..... I see so many color options of floors I have seen....

I know the gray and gold is based on a floor mosaic but it reminds me of sunny side up eggs! I have lots of pictures too of mosaic floors from my travels. Great inspiration! Thanks for all you do!

I want one, too! Where'd she get it?

Love the new quilt under the needle. Thinking it could be different colors and could call it green eggs and ham!

Jumanji sounds like a dream I had after reading that you're headed to Kenya. Chased by Lions and cheetah. Oh I woke up so tired. Happy for cooler temps today. A little rain. Hope it doesn't rain on our Fair next week I'll be in the grandstands though so if it does I'm good. Happy Fri-Yay on your flimsy finish!

I'm sorry. I do NOT see fried eggs, sunny side up, or cast iron pans. No thank you.

I am absolutely in love with the colors and pattern of your new quilt Bonnie! It's calling to me..."make me, make me". I'm not trying to rush you though. I've got lots of projects needing to be worked on. As long as I'm still breathing when it comes out, I figure I'll have time to make it. You totally amaze me with your creativity and use of color as well as your prolificity. Ha! I finally remembered that word that indicates your ability to make so many gorgeous quilts so quickly! Can't tell you how many times I've posted here and just couldn't make that word come to mind. Yeah, I guess I'm getting old. Have a great and prolific weekend!

One more comment just for fun. I also do not see fried eggs. I see white flowers with golden centers, not at all like daisies, I don't know anything about flower species, so I can't name the flower it reminds me of, but that's what I see, flowers.

The Sun Shines Through maybe? I see sunshine peeking through grey clouds. Sara (ohsirius7)
