Hi everyone!
This is the view outside my sliding glass door to my basement studio/office at home....and I am so happy to be greeted with sunshine this morning.
As we were driving home from Bristol TN last night I kept watching the thermometer on the car dash drop and drop and drop - at once point reaching below freezing.
It's quite the shock to a body who has been in the Arizona desert over the past week!
But no matter how much I loved warm temps and being with my dad - there really is truly no place like my own home to come home to.
Body clock adjustments of course made getting up at 8am eel quite like 6am -
I may be moving slow today, but hey - I'm still moving!
Guess what happens today?
We are drawing for our two winners in my Silk Path PDF pattern release and Gift-Away!
It's time!
And I also throught I'd dip into the photos folks have been sharing of their block progress from my Quiltville’s Open Studio group on Facebook.
I get so excited when I see you diving in and making such beautiful things!
Thank YOU, Jeanette!
Gorgeous blocks, Susan!
Really love the blacks! Wow!
And Kaffe! Fantastic!
This is coming along great!
Lovely, simply lovely!
I know this is not a project for the faint of heart. There are so many seams. But like Jeanette said above - if you follow the pressing directions, everything nests swimmingly.
I'm looking forward to more beautiful quilts coming together in the future. It's such a fun one to do.
Let's draw for those winers! You guys! 6,908 entries! Nearly 7,000 entries! This boggles my mind!
And yes - I'll be drawing for 2 winners who will each receive a Silk Path PDF pattern from me.
And a Facets of Brown Color Roll from Cotton to Quilts.
And entry 1002 is:
Janet Siler!
And entry 5604 is:
Kathryn Souza!
Congrats, Ladies!

Today? Oh...I am moving SO SLOW!
There are so many orders that need to start shipping out today. Thank you for your patience in waiting while I've been gone over the past week.
I'll get as far as I can get today - and resume tomorrow until we are all caught up.
Part One of our Indigo Way Mystery needs to be written! Are you excited? I am!
Quiltville Quote of the Day -
I may be moving slower than normal today, but I'm still moving!
Have a terrific Thursday, everyone!

Huzzah for the lucky winners! Glad you returned home safely after a fine visit with your Dad. As a homebody, I agree that the best part of returning from a wonderful trip is just being home again.
Welcome Home! The old saying is so true - "There's no place like home", even when the trip was a good one.
Congratulations to the winners 🏆🎉.
Yes home is special.
Plus I bet your fur babies missed you.
We're leaving now to go to my husband,,'s pre OP appointment. His surgery is the 26 of Nov. My son is mowing for the last time I think. Needs it. We have a pathetic amount of leaves.
I bet you are going to try to sew some today. I'm still working on my Bristol quilt.
Have a Sparkling day
Congratulations to the winners .Glad you had a safe trip and home again. Yes, looking forward to IW
Love the blocks in the 'quote of the day' - something I might try :) Greetings from East Yorkshire in the UK.
