In spite of everything else going on – for ONCE I remembered that tonight is our drawing for the winner of the March/April Quiltmaker bundle!

Oh, this was a fun afternoon!
I searched for a date, but by the fabrics the best I could come up with was 1950s. I love this photo from the newspaper that was stitched through with strings on the front side.
The little nearly vintage iron was on sale for $2! It did come home with me, I've cleaned it up and plugged it in and I'm in love with it. No vent holes, no steam!
And yes, more to share in a future post. Right now there is a certain comfy quilting chair complete with ready-to-quilt project at hand just calling my name.

I hear you on the implant! I was going through my implant issues while getting a hip replacement. So as you can imagine it was a race to get the implant done before the hip surgery. Only, the stupid wasn't stable! Oy, thankfully it all worked out and I have a new tooth and new hip. Happy Quilting!
