Quilts from 100 Blocks–Give Away!

giveaway1
Have I ever got a special giveaway for you!

Before it EVEN hits the newsstands!

This is such a hot-off-the-press release that I couldn’t even find the magazine cover image on Quiltmaker’s website!

I returned home from Idaho on Thursday about midnight, so no mail was tackled at the time, but yesterday morning when I attacked my stack of mail..look what I found!

It’s the Fall 2015 issue of Quilts from 100 blocks!

Just wait until you see what is inside!

Sparkling Pathways!

20150821_113230

Rainforest Canopy!

20150821_113245

Watermelon Surprise!

And these are just three of the 17 quilts in the issue, all inspired by blocks found in the 100 blocks by 100 designers series.

This issue also includes 5 bonus table runners ---what a great way to find ourselves easing into fall!

Let’s sweeten the pot with some fabric!

I’m going to draw TWO winners!  One to receive an issue of  Fall 2015 Quilts from 100 blocks, and for our second winner:

I’ve got a delicious selection of 5 fat quarters to add to the mix!

Leave me a comment ONLY in the COMMENTS SECTION below.  ((No emails, no guest book entries, no facebook or instagram messages or comments.  It has to be HERE on the blog.  On this post.)) Remember you MUST leave your email address to be included in this drawing.  No email address visible in your comment, and I will draw someone else. .

I will be using the random number generator to draw our winning numbers.  Comments in the comments section are numbered.  That’s the only way to enter.

I leave on Thursday, August 27th for teaching in Pennsylvania, so I will draw our winner Wednesday Evening!  How’s that?

Last night’s hand quilting!

I was ready to attach the last fill in section to the hexie quilt – only I arrived at the cabin with the section, but left the “mother ship” at home!  Argh!  No worries, I’ve got loads of hand quilting to still do so I worked on this last night and will continue in the evenings through the weekend.

I’m still struggling with eye strain a bit, but with proper lighting and taking my time, I plan to get this done.  The new prescription in my glasses is helping.

Mountains help too!

Temps are cooler up on Buck Mountain – we enjoyed a long lovely walk this morning and I am late getting this blog post out, but isn’t that what weekends are all about?

I’ll be spending the rest of my time up here sewing madly ---can you guess what I am piecing??

Happy Saturday, everyone!
