It’s Quilty Box Time! Give-Away!

septQB
It’s that time again!  And have I ever got a Quilty Box for you!

I had to set this box aside while I was opening up yesterday’s machine arrival, but I spent some time with these goodies last evening!

I have plans!

Yes I do!

What” You’ve never heard of Quilty Box?  Let me back track a little bit.
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box. They offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (Fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $50
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank You,
Patrick Claytor
Owner - Quilty Box
Subscribe today at
www.QuiltyBox.com!
I think the thing that makes me feel the best, besides the fact that these are items I WILL use –is the knowledge that 5% of the proceeds go to help kids in need.

Make more quilts, cover kids with love.  It’s all good!

So What is in THIS Quilty Box?

20150826_211638

And if you are a Quilty Box subscriber, Tabitha from Makedoshop.com is offering 10% off to subscribers with a code.  Subscribers only.  But 10% is 10%!  Thank you Tabitha for sponsoring this month’s Quilty Box!

Loving that you're giving us this opportunity. Sounds like fun! I think I have been mostly a traditional quilter but.....I have been really attracted to some of the modern fabrics and pattern ideas lately. I've ventured into a couple shops with that focus and I'm currently trying a modern baby quilt and loving the results! Bwurds (at) gmail.com.

Please add me to the drawing. I could use any and all of the contents of the quilly box. Sherry Hayes SHayes1@aol.com

I'd like traditional... I'm into knitting dishcloths at the moment so this yarn would come in handy.

I've been thinking about your question off and on all day and I think of myself as a traditional quilter with a tendency towards scrappy - thanks Bonnie! - but I think the fun part of a surprise box is the surprise! So I think shaking it up with different things is the way to go. If I had to choose I'd choose traditional.
Thanks Bonnie for all you do!

I tend to like to change it up, one traditional followed by any number of modern ones, depends on how successful I think they have been... Before I go back to another traditional one. These days I am collecting interesting patterns for an I spy quilt for a group of non-verbal kids. I'd loves the blue apples alone for it, not to mention other interesting fabrics from that cute charm pack. Still trying to find a plan for the scraps from that! Think that quilts for kids might get some interesting ones too!!

Awesome!! I've been kicking around the idea of joining Quilty for a few weeks now. Winning this would definitely help me make up my mind. "Which do you like better, modern or traditional quilting?" It depends on the pattern, the colors, who it would be for. "Do you want more modern stuff in your box to try? Or would you prefer your box to stay traditional? Same as above. I love it all so I'd be good with either and I have enough family members that there would be something for everyone. If I "had" to choose, I'd say traditional, bright colors, batiks. What a wonderful assortment of goodies. I love looking at the modern quilts but I am more of a traditional quilter. I also like landscape and pictorial quilts.

Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for a great giveaway. It`s so good of you to share with all of us. I am a traditional and scrappy ( is there anything else? ) quilter. You've created a quilter who loves to reuse shirts into quilts and uses all her bits and pieces. Thank you!

Hi!, This comment has nothing to do with the giveaway, when I sign into your blog your people counter( I have no idea what the real name,no comments please) the name of the town that comes up is a town about 45 miles from here. Well it just so happens to be the name of the town where my my parents lived. Every morning when I look at your blog,I check your counter and say hello yo my Mom, she passed away before I started quilting-she would have loved it. So, thanks for my good mornings. I'm more traditional I think, I also like the simplicity of modern.

I have to say that I am a modern quilter wannabee. Still deeply entrenched in traditional.
Great box of giveaways - would love to try it out.
Thanks.

This is quit a difficult question. I could say that I am "traditionalist". But I like modern quilts too. Maybe the ones that I like the less are "conceptional" quilts (the ones that are more about idea than about quilt). And speaking about materials: I can always combine both.

Terrific box! I've been wanting to get a copy of Sweet Tweets and here's a chance to win one in your drawing. I am a traditional quilter but from time to time I change it up and make a modern design with some of the wonderful new fabrics. So if I got a box with either type of items I would be a happy camper. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win these wonderful items, I hope I will be a lucky winner. markayblueeyes@gmail.com
