It’s Quilty Box Time! Give-Away!

septQB
It’s that time again!  And have I ever got a Quilty Box for you!

I had to set this box aside while I was opening up yesterday’s machine arrival, but I spent some time with these goodies last evening!

I have plans!

Yes I do!

What” You’ve never heard of Quilty Box?  Let me back track a little bit.
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box. They offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (Fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $50
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank You,
Patrick Claytor
Owner - Quilty Box
Subscribe today at
www.QuiltyBox.com!
I think the thing that makes me feel the best, besides the fact that these are items I WILL use –is the knowledge that 5% of the proceeds go to help kids in need.

Make more quilts, cover kids with love.  It’s all good!

So What is in THIS Quilty Box?

20150826_211638

What a fun box! I do like more traditional quilting. I went through a modern phase for a while, but found that the quilts piled up and weren't used like the traditional ones were. Besides, all those modern solid colors used in large amounts show stains! Busy prints hide baby formula, fruit punch, grass stains, whatever. Traditional quilts are so much more usable.

I prefer the traditional over the modern. I have done a couple more modern, but my favorite is to make scrappy quilts.

Looks like a great box! I like a blend of traditional and modern. I love a lot of the modern fabrics, but also like some of the more traditional quilt patterns/blocks. Thanks for all you do to inspire us, Bonnie! jbivey83@gmail.com

As a new quilter, thank you for all your tips, blogs and ideas that you post. Love the quilt cams you so selflessly take time out of your schedule to "talk" with and share quilting ideas with your followers. This is first time entering a contest. Would love to use this in my quilting endeavors.

I would love to win the quilty box. I spent the day sewing with my 11 year old granddaughter. She is interested in sewing and I want to encourage that. I like traditional quilts in bright colors...and Scrappy. buddym2@windstream.net

I think it's time for me to go modern. The vibrant colors are so appealing. I think that we are creating a "new" traditional quilting style here.

Yep! Thank you again, Bonnie, for an opportunity to win! I MUCH prefer traditional quilts and quilting. In fact, I won 5 yards of modern fabric a couple years ago and immediately sought out a modern quilter to give it to . . . oops!

Another fun quilty box! I'm more traditional but I have been looking at some modern quilts lately thinking I might give it a try. I also like using traditional patterns but using modern prints and color combinations to change it up a little.

I started making a "modern" quilt once but I kept changing the pattern and when it was done to my satisfaction I was surprised to see it was a traditional quilt! I love scrappy traditional quilts. Bonnie.......you ROCK! Thanks for the giveaway. Even if I don't win I like thinking about what I'll do with my prize if I do win. Nancyb

Love the box idea. Wish wish wish.
Love September give away. I have always considered September mine as I was born September 6. This year will be awesome as I turn 50. My sister was also born in September, 10th. That was our paternal grandfather's birthday, the only one of the many grands to share his day. It was also my father's maternal grandparent's anniversary. My sis made my folks miss the big 50th anniversary w/ her birth. So... September has always been my favorite month of the year. Here in central Florida it also starts bringing the not as hot weather with it. It is only in the LOW 90's by the end of the month, sometimes even the mid 80's. I have so loved your blogs, your Quiltville page and your group. Can't wait for the new mystery, still working on my modified Grand Illusion. Just love quilting.
