It’s Quilty Box Time! Give-Away!

septQB
It’s that time again!  And have I ever got a Quilty Box for you!

I had to set this box aside while I was opening up yesterday’s machine arrival, but I spent some time with these goodies last evening!

I have plans!

Yes I do!

What” You’ve never heard of Quilty Box?  Let me back track a little bit.
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box. They offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (Fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $50
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank You,
Patrick Claytor
Owner - Quilty Box
Subscribe today at
www.QuiltyBox.com!
I think the thing that makes me feel the best, besides the fact that these are items I WILL use –is the knowledge that 5% of the proceeds go to help kids in need.

Make more quilts, cover kids with love.  It’s all good!

So What is in THIS Quilty Box?

20150826_211638

A Charm Pack of Picnic by Cotton + Steel

And if you are a Quilty Box subscriber, Tabitha from Makedoshop.com is offering 10% off to subscribers with a code.  Subscribers only.  But 10% is 10%!  Thank you Tabitha for sponsoring this month’s Quilty Box!

A sweet Patchwork Heart Scissor Keeper from Patchwork Threads

Lovely soft Sugar n Cream yarn and a crochet hook!

I haven’t crocheted in a long time, but am longing to get back to it!  Perhaps there is a new dishcloth in my near future? The pattern is on the label of the yarn!  Could be fun!

I like a lot more Traditional block quilts, really like using Acrylic Templates and Rotary cutter for fast easy and accurate cutting.
I was brought up in a family that made quilts for each other, pretty usable quilts that showed you someone cared not something just to look at that you are worried about using or getting dirty.
Modern and Pictorial quilting are not me, just can't like the look of modern and pictorial are just art to look at.
I was also taught to crochet but have never mastered the constant tension needed to keep uniformity.

I love traditional quilts over modern. Quilty box is quite an interesting concept but just wondered why they are including crochet-related items. Maybe they are broadening their appeal to cover people other than quilters. Thanks for the chance Bonnie.

Thank You, Bonnie for making it possible to win another Great Quilty Box! I love sugar and cream to crochet with, too! I am a more traditional quilter, but I do like to try some of the new trends from time to time. BUT, I would really prefer that the Quilty Box people continue to put more traditional items in the Quilty Boxes, and when I am ready to venture forth into new territory, I can do it on my terms and timeframe.

Thank You for the opportunity to win this Quilty Box!

I started out as a traditional quilter but over the years began to think of myself as a contemporary quilter. I'm becoming more enamored with the modern quilt movement. However, I just moved into a new home which strikes me as a cabin in the woods although it is really a manufactured home on its own lot. Now I'm wanting to make some more rustic quilts.

I like all quilt types. I do tend to gravitate more towards traditional. I'm going to stretch myself and say modern to expand my techniques. I would be very happy with whatever I might receive in the box should I win.

Wow, a very interesting box. Would like to see what I could do with that stuff. I use sugar and cream to make potholders all the time. It is my traveling project. Give them away as love you gifts, housewarming gifts, teachers gifts, whatever. I am more of a traditional scrappy quilter. I receive scraps from everyone I know and like to see what I can make with them. One quilter's trash is another's treasure.
Hope you are having a relaxing time at home.
