I've just started playing around with some modern quilt designs after a class with Jacque Gering. They seem a bit easier to construct because more " negative space" is used---which means less piecing.

I have recently just put Sweet Tweets on my books wanted list - really happy to have the chance to win a copy. Overall I prefer Traditional quilting although I have seen some modern work that I like. Thank you Bonnie for everything you share and teach us. Travel safely.

I am more traditional, admire modern and trying to incorporate more of that into my to do list. I guess I would have to say modern to go outside my comfort zone. I think it's pretty cool that you are willing to give a quilty box away. Julia

I am and always will be a traditional quilter....I have tried modern and have to tell you that It really isnt me.....I have been emailing Patrick since the last box that you offered up!!! he truly is wonderful and busy just like you are!
