It’s a Quilty Box Give-Away!

quiltyboxgiveaway

**NOTE**  This drawing has ended!  Congrats to our lucky winner!

Last month I posted about my first Quilty Box arrival, and all of the goodies that were inside.

You can find that post HERE.

This month’s box just arrived and I am thrilled with everything that is in it!

Not only am I thrilled for ME, but I am thrilled for you too, because we are going to offer up a Give-Away so that one lucky winner will receive a Quilty Box of their own in the mail –simply by leaving a comment in the comments section of this post!

But first the nitty gritty!

Look at what is inside THIS MONTH's Quilty Box!

I could hardly get the tape off the box fast enough just to see!

20150714_190338

Oooohhh!  Ruler, patterns, best press..and batik strips!

20150714_190345

The X blocks ruler goes with the pattern enclosed in the box, and there are two more patterns included WITH the ruler!

20150714_190452

Back side of ruler package.  This will be fun to get in to!

20150714_190401

Other goodies…the pattern that goes with the ruler.

A 2 1/2’’ Strip Pack from Wilmington Batiks!

And a perfect bottle of Mary Ellen’s Best Press.

Along with my box I received the following info:
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (Fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $50
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank You,
Patrick Claytor
Owner - Quilty Box
Subscribe today at
www.QuiltyBox.com!
I think the thing that makes me feel the best, besides the fact that these are items I WILL use –is the knowledge that 5% of the proceeds go to help kids in need.

Make more quilts, cover kids with love.  It’s all good!

So tell me in the comment section below…just what would YOU make with the goodies from THIS Quilty Box should you be drawn as the winner?

Leave me a comment below.  LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.  No exceptions.  There must be an email address for you to win if I draw your name.  Don’t assume it is attached to your profile, because likely it is not.  No address, and I draw someone else, okay?

I’m leaving this open until Friday Evening!  We’ll let the Random Number Generator do it’s magic in deciding who our lucky winner will be!

And yes – this Giveaway is open to EVERYWHERE, not just to the USA!

Ready? Get Set –Comment!

I would love to win that box! I need some small tone-on-tones to make my batik stash more usable. Best Press is something I have wanted to try for a while. And the template is very exciting. I have been looking at patterns online and think I like diamond patterns the best, Blueprints or Venetian Tiles. Of course I might be won over by a freebie!

This is awesome! I know what I am asking for, for my birthday!

Kath said...

Well, I think I would use one of the patterns, with the ruler and fabric enclosed. This would be my 'learning' quilt (which may have to go into the scrap box for another try). Once I felt really comfortable with the pattern, I would make another quilt using children's fabric from my stash. This quilt I would donate to the Children's Hospital here in Denver. This monthly delivery club looks like a lot of fun - I may need to re-assess my current monthly club situation. Thanks for giving us the chance to win this great giveaway.

I would make the BasiX Symmetry quilt runner using the package of batiks. I love Mary Ellen's and it would come in handy during construction. Yes, I agree, one of the best parts of the Quilty Box is the return of $$ for Quilts for Kids. Will see you in a couple of weeks in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. :) My email is flmeyers at ImOnMail dot com.

I would love this. Thanks for the chance, Bonnie. I'm at awlong@msn.com

AddieNCE said...

What I would do with these goodies??

Well... the batik strips are calling my name... really! They are yelling "Grab us and sew something! NOW!"
I think they would be perfect along with the BasiX template... the good contrast that the vibrant batik fabrics will have combined with the layouts shown on the back of the template?? OOOH! Can't wait to give it a try! (I'll most probably ask my LQS to order these templates for me anyway... lol!)

I never tried "Best Press" before because we just don't have it here in Germany... would be lovely to finally find out why everybody loves it so much ;)

Anyway: whoever wins this giveaway will be a real lucky winner!
Thank you, Bonnie, for being so kind to share all these goodies!

I would make one of the patterns that comes with the ruler. They have to be a sure thing, right? Looks like the batiks can be used with the pattern too!

Thanks Bonnie for keeping me inspired! The quilt box looks great and I would start by using the template. I have lots of 2 1/2 inch strips and jelly rolls so that template would get me started on using more of them. 4smcmillan@rogers.com

I've never used the x block ruler, would love to give it a try. And 4 patterns total! I'm ready to start sewing.
