Guess what was in my mail box?? Whoowhoo!
Doesn’t it freak you out when it is still 2013 –abeit the last of it—and you are get a magazine for Jan/FEB 2014? Is it Valentine’s Day already?!
There are such GREAT quilts in this issue –I’m already in love with the basket quilt on the cover.
That soft blue sashing in a streak of lightning setting? Scrumptious!
I spent some time thumbing through all of the pages last night, and I know you are going to love this issue.
Take a peek at what you’ll find inside:
Judy Laquidara’s Oh, Sew Blue! Really caught my eye!
I have always loved Blue and White quilts!
And Miss Judy has an eye for design that inspires me to look at things differently ---this is just WOW!
But you’ll also find my Addicted to Scraps column!
This issue I am featuring a fun block called Garlic Knots after the yummies served in Italian restaurants, oozing with garlic and dripping with butter..MMmmm! These cuties, however, will not leave you with a bad taste in your mouth the next morning! LOL!
Check out the layout that the Quiltmaker peeps have suggested:
Learn more by visiting the Garlic Knots page on Quiltmaker.com HERE
Did you know you can see ALL of the blocks from my Addicted to Scraps columns by clicking the Addicted to Scraps tab at the top of the blog? Check it out!
Let’s have a Give-Away!
I’m going to draw for one winner! Leave me a comment in the comments section below!
I’ll draw for the winner on Sunday Evening while I’m in Germany!
