Who would think that a new kitchen sink faucet could make a girl giddy with glee?! :-)
It's true! I am that girl –
The cabin came with a functional faucet – but it was one of those low riding ones that was really hard to fit a pot under, not to mention filling a pitcher of water for lemonade –
I really should take stock in Lowes!
We have been there every day since we started coming up to the cabin on Wednesday! LOL
But girls need to have functional faucets---and this one is a beauty!
We are in the car, back in 4G-Land, headed home to Wallburg.
I am so sad to be leaving my little cabin behind for even a few days---
It's been a great weekend, and I can't wait to do it again!

So happy for you that you found your cabin and that it all worked out. Also very envious of all of the fun retreats you will have! Exciting!
I have that same faucet in my kitchen and I love it! I think you will, too. I'm so happy you got the cabin, it looks like a wonderful retreat! Enjoy!
A girl has to have a faucet to be able to make cold drinks. Congrats on your cabin.
I bet it was hard to leave your little spot of paradise! Thanks for showing us your cabin!
And kudos go to the DH who knows how to do all these cabin improvement projects!!! (I'm married to a guy like that, too, and I thank my lucky stars every day for him!)
It is the little things that get us going the most sometimes. Sounds like the cabin is a slice of heaven on earth and just what the Hunter family needed. With all the travel and teaching and working it will be a wonderful place to quilt away the days at. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!!!!
My faucet is almost identical to yours. Mine has a bronze type finish.
how far is you house from you cabin. I feel the same way when we leave our camp. and it is only an hour drive.
Oh you are gonna love it more too! :-). But you MUST get a deeper sink! Especially when you have guests or more than just your hubby there......those short sinks, they make it look like there's a mountain of dishes with just a cup or two in there! You need to post more pics so we can decorate it for you! I love spending other people's money to decorate their homes! Ha ha
Bonnie it is so much fun to watch the fun you are having and being truly happy. I was that way when hubby finely let me have the really big room over the garage for my sewing room I had been silently pining for it for about 40 years :).He races cars and always used it for parts storage so I was to get no part of the man cave :(. Suddenly last year he came to me and ask if I really wanted that sewing room LOL I could not get yes out fast enough. The next day he started getting all the materials together and about 2 months later I had an awesome new space to sew. I know I will hang on to him for another 45 years. Happiness is an awesome energizer. Bless you and yours and have a ball with enjoyment :)
I would never want to leave that place!! :)
Hi Bonnie,
I know EXACTLY how you feel about your new faucet. My son replaced my old leaky low rider last week and I am in heaven!!!! Congratulations on your new cabin. It must be wonderful to have such a peaceful place to spend your time. Good luck!

you will have many happy memories made in that cabin
I'm probably too late, but you can get 10% off at Lowe's - http://www.lowes.com/moving . They also give a veterans discount!
Oh, aren't those faucets great!! We just finished remodeling our kitchen and the sink is deep and the oil rubbed bronze faucet is great with the drop down sprayer and the little pump on the side for the hand cleaner.....I wanted to be with you in that cabin.....

Love the new sink... I am currently purchasing my own little slice of heaven here in Oklahoma out in the country and can't wait to get out there and get all my sewing stuff unpacked!!! I watched one of your classes on youtube and you are so right about not knowing how much fabric we have until we move!!! I hope you love it out there...
Love the faucet. I got mine for Christmas. It's the little things that make us happy.
