Goodies in the Mail….GIVE-AWAY TIME!!

First Off...Don't forget to join me for Quilt-Cam tonight at 9pm Eastern!!

I am constantly amazed by the wonderful people who come through my life all because of this thing we do….quilting!

((And fabric buying, and petting and hoarding….etc!))

One such person is Ellen Medlock, who I only met via email due to her participation in the collection of donated quilts for the tornado survivors in Oklahoma.  I am so happy and so overwhelmed with the outpouring of quilts from all of you, thank you so much for all you’ve done!

Through this call for quilts, and then the call to redirect quilts where they could be further distributed after the fact, I learned that Ellen is a fabulous artist, quilter, pattern designer and designs her own lines of fabrics!

I received an email from her last week asking if I would like to include some of her fabrics in my quilts – of course!  And to sweeten the pot, I asked her if she had a couple extra fat quarters that I could give away here on the blog.

You guys!  She sent BUNDLES!!  And it’s not just fabric!  These are GOODIE BAGS!

ikea 030

Winter Love Fabric Line, Midnight  color way!

ikea 031
Winter Love, Frost color way!

These look so fun to play with!  I’ve got some for myself as well and am itching to cut into it!

To celebrate her new fabric line, Ellen has posted free directions for this adorable quilt:

Eleven-Squared_for-Blog

She writes:

To celebrate I am posting a Twin Size FREE Quilt Pattern I designed for this collection-
  “Eleven Squared”.
To download click this link.
I so love these designs!! Hope you do too!
-Ellen
Ellen Medlock Studio
Tulsa, OK

So here’s what we are going to do!  I will be gone to the cabin for the weekend, leaving tomorrow morning.  I get home Sunday Night.  SO MONDAY MORNING we will draw for TWO  winners of the following gift bags:

ikea 028

Frost Gift Bag: 1 pack of Fat Quarters, a Pack of gorgeous note cards, and a hanging purse holder to match!

ikea 029

Midnight Gift Bag:  1 pack of Fat Quarters, a pack of Gorgeous Note cards ((I didn’t open this pack for the photo))  And a hanging purse holder to match!

And please give Ellen a visit! You can find her website HERE!  And definitely her blog HERE!

If you download her pattern, please leave her a comment on her blog with a "Thank You" and a "Bonnie Sent Me!"

Look for WINTER LOVE fabric to be in your favorite sewing/quilting shops within the next few weeks!  And if it is NOT there, tell that shop owner/buyer to contact Ellen’s studio to order!!

For the duration of the Give-Away, I have changed the comment section so ANYONE can comment.

Please leave your comment in the comments section  below - I need your comment on the blog so that the random number generator will include you.  Emailed comments and guest book entries can not be included for this reason.  Leave your comment ON THIS POST ONLY to win!

Please BE SURE that your email is linked to your ID, or leave your email in your comment.  You can not win if we can't reach you by email! :)

Good luck everyone!
