A stop at Wegmans and the rest if the day spent hand stitching are going to have to suffice!
I think there is a nap on the horizon as soon as we finish lunch.

Oooh, great colors in that backing fab. Can't wait to see the secret. You have sooo many quilts and projects in the works at one time. I don't know how you can keep track of them all, or how you know which one needs your attention most. Enjoy a cozy, lazy day in!

Leaping Lizards! Honeycrisp at $3.49 ... WOW ... and I thought $1.29/pound was expensive ... guess I'll count my blessings! I love Wegmans ... my sister has one near here. You need to rest between aisles sometimes and they actually have benches for you to sit on! Boggles the mind ......

That picture reminds me of apple festival that is held each year at a local farm. Look forward to seeing the front of that quilt. I love sewing the binding down. Very relaxing and exciting part of quilt making, oh and cozy if it is a chilly day
Keep up the productivity and you will run out of hand sewing on this trip and have to start some more hexies! Love the backing on the quilt-know it's not the mystery as you said you haven't gotten the borders figured out yet! So, waiting for a new Quiltmaker to come!
Apples are labeled "Organic" and that often doubles the price!
No wonder the poor and unemployed eat so poorly. One Honey Crisp weighs nearly one pound. Ask me how I know. Are there any reasonable sized Honey Crisp apples or are they all those giant things?

This was a day for staying in and drinking hot tea. Laid out my blazing bandanas quilt. The dogs helped approve block placement.
I paid $2.49 at the local Kroger store for a Honey Crisp. It was very good, but I nearly choked when I saw the price.
