We are on lunch break and everyone has gone to check out the show. It's an awesome venue here in Shepherdsville, KY.
We are at the beautiful Paroquet Convention center.
My hotel is right across the parking lot so I am playing hooky to spend my lunch time sewing in my room :-)
I have to share the wonderful welcome bag I received! These gals thought of everything to make us feel right at home.
My gift bag included an adorable show mug, and a cute cute box with shoes on it--filled with Hershey's kisses!
We've gone through 4-patches and easy angle half square triangles so far---after lunch we move on to tri-recs star points and blocks will start coming together!

welcome to shepherdsville bonnie!! fyi, there's a culvers' not too far north. (11801 interchange dr, 40229) hope you have a gps, thought the google map was a bit confusing.
LOL! I thought you said the bag contained a box with shoes in it not on it. I could not figure out why they would give you shoes. Then I went back and re-read your post.
I love the choice of 'neutral' for that last block. It really ties the pieces together nicely. I'd love to see her finished quilt top.
I was staring at your mug, trying to figure out what was THAT up over her shoulder..was she swinging her purse in the air? FINALLY saw it to be a horse's muzzle and reins! Thought my "DUH" moment would give you a grin ;D Chris in Augusta
I was so excited to hear you this morning...I knew it was your voice since I had been hearing you on the quilt cam. I was in another class and didn't get to meet you. Hope you come back another year and I can take one of your classes!! Hope you have a great KY experience! Bonnie in KY
I first thought it was a bonnet flying off her head.....
