Imagine all the young minds you will inspire. I offer all the kids that pop over to my house to sit down and teach them how to sew. I think I may wrangle up a few for this Summer and give sewing classes.
I think it's great that you do the old timey day with the kids. Good for you and Karen for doing this! You make a bigger impression than you think. Judy
You talked in a recent post about being the old lady with all the quilts. But look here, you'll be the hit of the "Old Timey Day" because you get to bring and display your antique goodies! It's your personal Joanna Rose exhibit!

That looks like lots of fun. Kids are inbterested in so much more than we think they are. Anything that 'hooks' the next generation of quilters.
You never know where the next quilters may be!
