I love the color placement on this antique quilt. In the pic, it doesn't so much look cheddar as golden yellow. So fun to hear about what fabrics you're using and giving yourself permission to use. Whee, another quilt going off for a magazine - very exciting!

Today is a GREAT day! You're alive with the spirit of the maker of the quilt and THAT is being IN SPIRIT. I dig it!!!

And oh by the way, seriously... Patches and Pinwheels is probably an all time favorite. Excited about that one for REAL.

I love the quilt! I am handquilting a quilt top that my great grandmother made. The fabrics match in most of the blocks but every so often you will see a block that has an odd patch in it, I guess she ran out of it and just used what she had. I love that look!
