September Quilty Box Gift-Away!

20170919_070339
Good morning!  Things are hustling and bustling in Wallburg NC this morning as I load the trunk show bags and my suitcase and all else in the van for my ride to the airport.

I’m on my way to FLORIDA!  I’ve been home for more than a month this go round, and that’s the longest time home I can remember in many years other than Decembers – it feels good to get back in the saddle and go have some fun with some quilty folks.

I thought this morning would be the best time to put up a Quilty Box for grabs!

And you are going to love what is in the September box.

Here are some highlights to keep in mind:

  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • The next Quilty Box will ship around Oct 11th. Subscribers will need to purchase before Oct 10th to receive this shipment.
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.

Check out all of the yummy goodies in this box!

I de-ribboned the fabric right away!

Such pretty fabric with just a bit of sparkle in the detail!  This “La Conner” bundle by Lecien fabrics has a romantic and mature feel.  The feminine soft colors of this collection provide a feeling of warmth and elegance. La Conner is inspired by one of Jera Brandvig’s favorite towns in Washington Sate.

These other goodies are included as well!

4’’ scissors featuring one of Jer’s La Conner prints, Marbled glass-head pins by Clover, Ruler Pal mini – perfect for keeping rulers in order at your sewing table (I NEED THIS!) and a spool of tsumugi 100% cotton thread made with extra long staple cotton.

In this month’s Bundles of Inspiration booklet you’ll find more info on Jera and her pattern to go with the fat-quarter bundle:

A bit about Jera!

Jera Brandvig is a quilter, author and fabric designer and proud mother of two beautiful boys and her fur child, Paige.  Living in the rainy city of seattle, Jera chronicles her creative quilting journey on her blog Quilting in the Rain.

As a lover of fabric, her motto is “Let your creativity rain!” Jera has recently released her second fabric line with Lecien Fabrics called La Conner (included in this month’s Quilty Box!) She is also the author of two books: Quilt-As-You-Go Made Modern and Quilt-As-You-Go Made Vintage.  New and experienced quilters are sure to be inspired by Jera’s easy, pretty, and creative style.

So let’s do this Gift-Away!

I'll be drawing our winner on Saturday Night after I return from Florida.

My guild presentation is tonight in Boca Raton, followed by a Wednesday Jamestown Landing Workshop and  a Friday Roll Roll Cotton Boll Workshop.  Thursday is a DAY TO PLAY!!

Quiltville Quote of the Day!

Yesterday when returning from FedEx there was a crazy driver just all over the interstate passing cars over around and in between. I just held steadfast in my own lane. Yep, there's a life lesson in that!

Stay in your own lane and let the crazies passed you by!

Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Those little scissors are so cute! Hubby found my little pair I kept by my machine and used them on who knows what so these would be a perfect replacement!

I graduated from La Conner High School. My graduating class had 29, so you know how small the town is! The fabric line is more famous than the little town! It's nice to see it get some recognition!
