New Digital Patterns & A Book Sale!

digitalsale
Happy Groundhog Day, everyone!

Groundhog day is one of the silliest holidays of the year, right up there with April Fools Day, and no matter what Punxsutawney Phil, the plucky marmot from Pennsylvania says about his shadow, we know that Spring is eventually going to arrive, and I am excited about it.

What does a small town in Pennsylvania know about the coming of spring, anyway?  Here in North Carolina it was 72 yesterday afternoon, blissfully so, and I want to THINK SPRING, I’m going to do it full force, shadow or no!

So onto the exciting website news.

Sale Sale Sale Sale!  And New Digital Patterns!

Our En Provence mystery has been retired from the blog and is now available in Digital pattern form in the Digital Patterns Section of the Quiltville Store. 9 pages of full color photos and step by step instructions to create your own beautiful En Provence quilt.

I have also added the pattern for Garlic Knots, including step by step photos for my easy strip piecing technique, and full instructions for the enhanced piano key border you fell in love with and have been clamoring for.

ALL Digital patterns are 25% off through February 9th using the coupon code DIGITAL25 in the coupon box when ordering. Coupon must be used at time of purchase.

And that's not all! MAJOR MARKDOWNS on many book titles in the new SALE section of the store, including those by other authors and a couple of my own titles. Take advantage of these while supplies last. When they are gone, they are gone!

Remember: There is FREE shipping on orders of $75 or more within the USA using coupon code FREE75 at checkout. Code must be used at time of purchase. Not available for international shipping. International shipping rates apply.

The book sale will run until “Further Notice.”  It’s limited to stock on hand, so we’ll see how long that goes.

While you are in the Quiltville Store you can still pick up the Addicted to Scraps Book and Essential Triangle Tool bundle at quite a savings and you’ll be ready for this course! And you get the Wanderlust Table Runner pattern as a free bonus.

Having the workshop in your Craft U library for easy access would be just the ticket for watching when you want, refreshing techniques when you need them and honing up some skills.  Craft U has now gone ALL STREAMING so wherever you have an internet connection you can access my courses.  They are yours forever, and you get interaction through the message boards, sharing with other students for one year from purchase!

PERFECT!

Wanderlust Quilt with Bonnie Hunter (Scrap Quilting Basics from Beginning to Binding!)

20170201_152005

My job for today.

I’ll be finishing the quilting on Dawn’s Early Light, and hopefully will have time to get the binding on.  My time home is winding down, I fly to Houston on Saturday and I’m happy to say that I won’t have to hide my face from the quilters who I’ll be seeing.  “The Thing” is greatly reduced in size, antibiotics are doing their trick and I’m sticking with the full round so it doesn’t come back, whatever it was.

The Gift-Away for the Mar/Apr 2017 Quiltmaker Bundle is still on-going!  The drawing happens tomorrow evening.  Enter to win on THAT POST.

Quiltville Quote of the Day!

I found this little tattered Sunbonnet Sue quilt at an antique shop yesterday. (More about that in tomorrow’s post!) I wondered what kind of quote would go with it, and I found one!

It pays to look on the bright side.  ALWAYS.

Not to mention a bonnet like this could hide THE THING on my face!

Happy Thursday everyone --

  8. hi--I really hate to tell you what the 'thing' on your face is--
I know cause I have ended up with the 'thing' on my face in different areas at least 4 times in my lifetime so far--and each and every time it has been a tooth problem--
now wait--keep reading--every time--I did not have any kind of toothache, before, or during the swelling--but each time the 'root' of the problem was a tooth--
and as for the heat--yes it makes it feel better--but I was always told not--not to use heat as it make the infection grow faster--
just my 2 cents my dear--
    enjoy the moments,di

  13. Let us know about the "thing" and when it disappears. It is a mystery - and not a good one.

  14. Try as I might, I could not bet my chosen book, Addicted to Scraps, AND the triangle tool both to appear in my shopping cart. Either one or the other would appear but not both when I tried to check out. GRRRRR! What am I missing about how to operate shopping in your online store??
