How About a November Quilty Box Gift-Away!

nov16
Good morning!  Rise and Shine!

The Hubster and I are in Atlanta waiting to board our flight for Salt Lake City and all of the family fun that awaits.

I am so excited to be spending the time with as many siblings and their families as possible and wishing everyone safe travels.

My brother Mark and his wife Sharolyn are soon to be boarding a flight from Phoenix.

My Brother David and his wife Anna will be driving down from Logan along with my brother Rick.

My sister Mary and her family are busily moving into their new home in Tooele, just in time for family to take up sleeping space in their new abode as well.  Good timing, guys!  We don't mind the boxes, just let us lend a hand!

Nieces and nephews and tons of noise are on the agenda and I just want to wrap myself up in it.  All of the kitchen prep, the dirty dishes, the countless beverage glasses, the laughter, the games, the just being together.

While I am on my way, I thought this the PERFECT time to introduce the November Quilty Box!

I am just tickled with the November Quilty Box, especially after meeting the powers behind the box at Quilt Market in Houston a couple weeks ago. [Has it been that long already?]

Did you know that Quilty Box is based in MONTANA?!

And they came to my book signing!

The Claytors have built Quilty Box from the ground up and it is flourishing due to the marvelous things that each month’s box brings right to your doorstep.
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (Fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • December's Quilty Box Featured Artist will be Natalie Barnes from Beyond the Reef.
  • The next Quilty Box will ship around December 11th. Subscribers will need to purchase before December 10th to receive this shipment.
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.

I LOVE the fact that 5% of the profits go to Quilts for Kids!  It’s a win win all the way around!

I’ve got ONE Quilty Box up for grabs for ONE Lucky Quilter!

Our winner will be drawn on Wednesday evening, November 16th!

In OTHER news, if you have opened your heart and donated to my cousin Bethany's mission trip to Aruba THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!  I received the following message from Bethany this morning:
Bonnie, I am so blown away by the generosity of your quilting community! I logged on to my go fund me this morning and I'm nearly at my goal.....my mind is absolutely blown.
I am teary eyed just writing this. This trip has been such a huge deal for me and going out of my comfort zone. I've never done anything like it before and I am so excited to go! Thank you SO much for all of your help.....words cannot express my gratitude right now. Family is the best!
Thank you for being part of my Quilting Family and helping to send Bethany on this amazing journey after the loss of her brother.  If you haven't read the details, you can find them on yesterday's post HERE.

What I want to put forth is this. Our En Provence Mystery is coming up really soon. It’s always free. But if you are planning on participating in the mystery, would you consider donating just $5.00 to help Bethany reach this goal? We can come together and do something positive, not only for Bethany, but for the lives of the animals they are helping to save in Aruba.

Thank you for anything you can do! No matter how divided we feel over what is going on here in our country, WE THE PEOPLE can make a difference in helping to heal the heart of this young woman with so much to give.

It was a week for Quilt-Homecomings!

Wonky Wishes has been the hands of C&T since August 2015!  I’m so happy it is back home where it now becomes a guild workshop and part of my traveling trunk show.

On my back porch!

With empty invoice boxes 11 & 12!

Boxes 13 & 14 are now also empty!

Everything up until Nov 3rd is out the door.  SO close to being all the way current that I almost hate leaving for the next 10 days!  But thank you for hanging in there with me.

We haven’t run out of Essential Triangle tools [yet] and my distributor will have more Tri-Recs in their warehouse by mid-week next week.  A few more have been added to the Quiltville Store and it looks like everything will mostly be ready to go when our En Provence Mystery starts Nov 25th. It is SO CLOSE NOW!

Remember that our first week’s clue at least will not require specialty rulers allowing time for those who have ordered to receive theirs.  But if you haven’t ordered yet, we may be marching on without you, or this mystery will go all the way until February!

Quiltville Quote of the Day!

To our veterans, we honor and thank you today and always for the sacrifice you made and continue to make on our behalf.

YOU are what makes America the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Thank you for protecting our freedoms. Happy Veterans Day! Go hug a Vet! Patriotic fan quilt found in Missouri by Kevin H @photokevin74.

Happy Friday, everyone!

  6. Bonnie--I am so looking forward to your time in UT and the class in Idaho Falls! We are vacationing in Garden City UT until time for class. I am so looking forward to getting away for a bit and then to be able to be in your class is the whipped cream and cherry on top of my vacation this year. Have a wonderful, blessed time with your family. Maybe you can see me waving from Garden City, LOL! Cindy

Wonderful positive things are happening all around us. We need to dwell on the positive rather than all of the negative newsworthy things.
