iPhone-o-Gram! How Many Blues?!

Happy are we who get to sew all day long in Bedford Pennsylvania!

Today is blue ridge beauty day – and we have spent the morning piecing our brains out on four patches.

After lunch we will switch gears and tackle half square triangles and more sewing the units together finally ending up with our blocks ready to go :-)

But right now it's time for lunch! There is Mexican on the menu :-)

  1. All those ladies look like they are having sew much fun!! Wish I were there. Love, love, love PA people and countryside. Just viewed quiltcam from 7/16 while removing hems from all 4 sides of cotton window valances I got for a couple dollars--to be cut into strips. If I close my eyes during quilt cam, I can hear my BFF (who is now in the great forever) in your voice, your cadence, and especially the WAY you say things. But today DH and I are laughing because your in your exasperation with the haircut you sound exactly like me! I gave up hairdressers a year ago and will learn to live with my hair longer so I can cut it myself, then I have no one else to blame. Like you, I do not want to spend time or energy on styling tools and products, just give me clean and reasonably attractive and out of my way hair! Love you, Bonnie, for so many reasons. Safe travels.

  2. I got to your blog from Pinterest and see your Blue Ridge day. I thought what a cool day that looked like. I also thought I recognized Penguin ice cream..but talked myself out of it. Further reading reveals you are in Bedford, PA..how cool! I am just west of Murrysville right now and often go through Bedford. I insist on taking Rte 30 rather then the bland turnpike.
If there is a place you all meet up let me know...I'll try to come down or stop on my way through.
