iPhone-o-Gram! Mr Fix-it!

I would send this post via my computer – only I can't reach it right now!

This is a view of part of the boxes that were removed from my van after my trip to IKEA the other day –

DH was off work early today – and decided that now is the best time to try to put the stuff together!

One desk chair is assembled!

Next up? The new bookshelves! Shown in pieces laying by the fireplace--

And of course, not exactly the best view of DH! LOL!

I'm working on this little 301 to get her running – poor dear- was all jammed up and running dry but I think I've got her humming now!

Tune into Quilt-Cam at 9 PM eastern – and I'll show her off to you! :-)

I just finished cutting step 4 of "Easy Street". Plan to do a little Christmas shopping tonight then home to do some late night sewing. My machine is whispering my name. :)

I'm going to snooze a few minutes kicked back in my recliner so I'll be ready for quilt cam tonight.

you really took DH seriously when he said you needed more business expenses: sewing machines, furniture, sewing machines, carpet, sewing machines . . . . . Sue K

Nice to have a handy man around for such things. You have to sneak up behind him to get the picture. Hope to be able to join on Quiltcam and find out the new machines name!

One question I have been meaning to ask do you sew on your Singer 401A? That is the machine I learned to sew on and still own , althought it does not see much sewing anymore. I guess you could say I retired her...

Speaking of naming your new machines...have you given any thought to naming one after Claire?

Everytime I see huge boxes like that, especially at this time of year, I want to get on it and slide down the snowy hillside! lol
We used to have so much fun with a piece of cardboard in the winter snow - it slid much better than the old rickety tobaggon....
Have a great weekend!

DH with a darling tush.
I can tell he is good looking.
I grew up sewing on Singers and My Mom's did not like me. She had the ones with the cam and it always tangled the thread up when I sewed on it. Still I made plenty of clothes for first Barbay Doll and then myself on it.

Looks like a great view to me. Pioneer Lady shows Marlboro Man's buns every chance she can get. No reason you shouldn't show off Dave's. LOL. I never turn down a chance to droll over great buns. And if they are in the quilt studio then that's even better!

I would sleep in a tent in the back yard if I was at your retreat! No worries, you build it...we will come!

I am doing something wrong. Earlier this year we got a bunch of stuff from Ikea. Two dining chairs, two living room chairs, a desk chair, two tables for my sewing room, a laptop holder and some shelves from Target too. I had to put it all together myself. sigh

It definitely looks like IKEA was happy you came by. Hehe
