I’ll have pictures to show of the doors as soon as it is daylight in the morning ---it’s too dark to get good photos now.
I’m a bit shy about this little guy you see here ---he has a story --- In fact, he’d probably tell me all about how I neglected him and abused him for months and months and months because he needed a re-wiring job. And there were other machines in line ahead of him – no matter how much I liked him.
Why am I shy? Because I know you guys are going to think I am completely nuts! But -- I have a penchant for blue machines, and this guy doesn't have a scratch on him!
He is a 1950s Singer Clone made in Japan -- and though in perfect condition other wise --his wiring was dry, cracking and DANGEROUS. I found him for a mere $35.00.
About a month ago I dropped him off at my trusty fix-it guy, Alan.
He came back all shiny and ready to go last week when I dropped off Missy the Magic Bus to correct her timing issues – this is feeling a bit like getting one kid out of braces, and dropping the next one off to put them on! But I like my machines to be in top working order, or why have them?
I’ll show more pictures of him in a future post – right now I just want to SEW on him! Won’t you come play along?
Why is this one a HE? I don't know. He just is. Just the same way my black Kenmore is. His name? Bobby. :c)
I'm turning on the camera for an hour or so.
I'm back to working on Moth in the Window blocks....I need to test the seam allowance and be sure it is where it is.
I've kitted up more spools for Leaders & Enders ---and I'm dying to get into my box of 2.5" squares with some ideas mulling around in my head.
You can leave a comment in the comment section below, or leave one in the guest book by clicking the blue guest book button in the left hand side bar, While I can't answer them all ---I do pick randomly and try to answer questions as I sew!
