iPhone-o-gram! Hello from Idaho!

We are sitting around chatting and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery!

We stopped along the south fork of the Payette River.

The guys have white water rafting and later in the week---but I think as close as I'll get is to pull over to take pics!

I haven't seen my mom yet because she is now off to the airport to pick up my aunt and cousin who are flying in from Minnesota.

Other brothers and sisters and their families will start arriving tomorrow.

I live being up here---relaxation is happening in full force!

These pics are of Jason, me, Andy brother Rick.

PS---I bought the pink shirt!

  2. We used to live up that way. Whenever we go back for a visit it feels like going home, even though neither of us were born in Idaho. We used to swim in Payette Lake every summer. :D Have fun and enjoy your family!

  3. I live just a few hours from there, here in Eastern Oregon. Been fishing in that area for years!! Enjoy the pacific northwest, Bonnie - welcome to my neck of the woods! Here's a thought since you are in the woods - A beautiful scrappy Log Cabin quilt would fit the scenario don't ya think?

Pink shirt is perfect - love watching your travels, Bonnie. Pink scrappy quilt is on my bucket list... maybe I'll adapt one of the "new book" ones to a pink palette.

  15. I have family in the Nampa/Boise area. My most fun summers were spent in the Treasure Valley with my 32 Cousins on the farm at Star, Idaho. You are just 5-6 hours away from me right now... Enjoy the family time!

  19. How many brothers and sisters do you have? Seems like they keep coming from everywhere! Enjoy your reunion. We have one coming up at Labor Day but it's in Kansas City! Steel and concrete for me....
