iPhone-O-Gram! Ice Cream Cures All!

I'm still at Washington Dulles airport.

My flight was supposed to leave at 8am. Then they said. 11am. Then they said 12pm. Then they said 2pm

Auughh!

Then they said they were bringing in another plane from Richmond and our latest departure estimate is now 2:45pm

When we got the notice that the Richmond plane was airborn, I decided to celebrate with my good buddies Ben & Jerry!

It's a Chunky Monkey dance and a Cherry Garcia celebration

Oh, and a mint chocolate cookie lip balm just for surviving this day.

Get me home please!!!

PS---I am SO not making dinner tonight!!

  1. Mmmmm... Yep, this calls for ice cream! A girl after my own heart. Your own bed is going to feel soooo good tonight. Almost there.

  2. Gee, you probably could have rented a car and driven home in less time. Sorry for your bad flights this time. It's not fare, but I guess you fly often, so it's bound to happen. At least you have Ben and Jerry for company. I also think that table top under the ice cream looks like a paper piecing pattern! Do you have your crayons while you are waiting??? lol Hope you get home soon, and safely.

  9. You earned that ice cream, in my opinion! I hope that it was delicious, and that you are in the air right now!

here is hoping you arrived safely (finally) at home. I am sure the ice cream helped. hat really caught my eye was the table top your ice cream was sitting on... I'll wait while everyone scrolls back up and looks... what a wonderful sunburst pattern that would make... you didn't happen to get just a shot of the table top did you?

Bring on the ice cream girlfriend, but not the flavored lip balm. I'd still be licking my lips off.. Suzanne in Maine

  17. I envy you not being lactose intolerant! Even taking pills won't allow me to eat as much ice cream as you do and I love the stuff! What is that red quilty looking line thing your ice cream is sitting on? Is that the counter? Great idea for a quilt!
