All bags have been accounted for! And I was greeted by tile quilt designs on the airport floor!
Please note that there are decorative bovines outside of the terminal--
And something that EVERY public place should enforce--
No smoking outside of any entrance!!
Thank you, Burlington, Vermont---we are going to get along just fine!

I spent a summer in Burlington and enjoyed it immensely. There is a nice, "green" sensibility to how people live life there.
ReplyDeleteI love Burlington. One of my best friends lives there and used to be one of the Air Traffic Controllers for the Burlington Airport. Oh the stories she used to tell. Most of them you wouldn't want to know about. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love being a Vermonter! And now it's even cooler, because Bonnie is here! Welcome to Burlington....can't wait to see you at the VQF this weekend!
ReplyDeleteGotta' love that cow! Enjoy your stay!
ReplyDeleteI think that cow would make a great addition to my collection. Can you bring if home for me?
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool floor!! Have a great time with all those quilts and quilty people in VT. I will just be melting away in MO, supposed to be 99 today, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE the Burlington area. Hopefully I'll run into you at the show on Friday! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've long since given up the habit, but my favorite photo is me standing dragging on a cigarette with a "No smoking on hospital grounds" clearly visible over my right shoulder.

I am really impressed along with your writing talents as smartly as with the format on your blog.
ReplyDeleteIs this a paid subject matter or did you customize it your self?
Anyway stay up the nice quality writing, it is rare to look a great weblog like this one these days.

Glad you arrived safely. Love the cow and that wonderful tile pattern. May have to play with that one!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Karen W.
If you really like to know who started painted cows, they started off from Amsterdam in Delft Blue =^} Maybe already some five or even more years ago the town has been "invaded" by over 200 cows, not only the blue varieties, but flowers (tulips!) and anything you can think of as well. The Delft Blue brand thrives best! And is the most genuine, there are some that are over a hundred years old. Museum stuff, but biblical: they have been fruitful and multiplied 8^}
ReplyDeleteHave a great time, love from Amsterdam, Irene
I think you've landed in Ben & Jerry territory - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAustralia has very strict no smoking rules. We have no smoking within 5m of entrances to buildings... not always enforced but people do have to move away to smoke. All eating areas are smoke free. Its great. It was such a shock to go to Italy and other places in Europe last year and find that this was not the case there. Enjoy Canada
ReplyDeleteI love being an "armchair traveler" with you and seeing and hearing about all your travels!
