iPhone-o-Gram! From Boone to Linville!

Great day for a Sunday drive, and we have seen such beautiful scenery!

From lakes to rivers to mountain views---

We've just stopped at a BBQ place for a bit of lunch before wandering further.

My highlight? Seeing quilt blocks on barns, sheds and houses! I only got DH to pull over once, I guess he thinks once is enough! Lol!!

Oh, and corner section 3 has been added to the hexie quilt! Yay!

  3. Congrats on adding that corner to the hexie quilt!

I want to add quilt square to my shed and wonder if I should just paint it right on the shed or do it on a sheet of plywood ......of course then we'd have to put holes in the shed and DH would hate that.
I think a red Ohio star would look perfect :0)......what do think?

    Happy Sewing......yum BBQ!

  5. On a 10 hour road trip to Moscow Idaho last week to help DD pack for a move to New Hampshire, I took my hexie project with me for working on in the car and I totally forgot to get it out--coming or going! I need your focus and then maybe this 15 year project would finally get finished! : )

  6. Only once was probably the safest bet LOL. Don't want to annoy the driver with any quilting OCD ;)
