  8. Oh, wow, that quilt is fantastic! That is a great block. Hum....think I'll dig out my copy of the 100 Blocks magazine and go back through it for some new inspiration.
Sorry about the Bernina, Bonnie. I'm not fortunate enough to have one now. But did get to 'borrow' the one that my MIL left to one of our daughters. It 'lived' at my house for several years while DD was in college and traveling around the world. Then when she married and settled down, she took her machine. DANG! Double DANG!! LOL It is an old Bernina Record, but still sews like a dream. I loved that machine!

  10. Wow! That is cool! I love how the blue/purple does the wavy thing across the quilt. It's the optical illusion, I know, but so neat looking!! I am so glad I bought that magazine!

Hey Bonnie, boy will I understand one day how you feel about your bernina. Three weeks ago, I finally got a new sewing machine, I tried Vikings, I tried some others and did research including your input. I went in to buy this one but this rep showed me another one and I knew after trying it that it belonged to me. And I did get the computerized one (I had vowed I would not, but glad I did on this one).

Well, I was able to sail through the Orca Bay project and just finished the border today thanks to my new machine. You are so right that some works well for certain projects. Good luck finding the "right" one. rea@windstream.net
