A "Crumby" Upload!

I finally got on the stick and pulled all my crumb quilts/projects/blocks into a tutorial page on my website.

I've been intending to do it ALL YEAR since Tonya and I had our crumby week over last New Years..but you know how life goes!

You can check it out here: Crumbs, Crumbs, Crumbs!!

My idea is to have a place where all kinds of crumb projects can be shown, along with how different quilters make use of their crumbs, so if you have any techniques, projects to show...let me know! I'm happy to post them!

In addition to my crumb quilts, I posted some charity crumb quilts that I did...and the book covers projects.

Send me ideas and pics if you have them and want them included!

  3. Hi Bonnie,

Yes, you do deserve to listed in McCall's magazine for great blogs. You are entertaining and are always showing us quilting projects. Your blog is always the first one I go to everyday.

    Keep up the good work.

  8. Wow ~ inspiring tutorial, to say the least! Not to mention all those glorious colors... I've been saving the little bits and even made a couple of AAQI Priority Quilts using some from a recent coffee-theme quilt, but now I'm even MORE motivated!! THANKS, Bonnie (and congrats on the magazine pieces!!)

  9. Love the bright colours! I learned this technique years ago called Mile a Minute and have made a number of quilts using 6 1/2" blocks...it will be fun to try it with smaller blocks..I can see how they would be easier to work with. And, I now have the Dear Jane ruler since I have started a Dear Jane quilt :-). Hmmm....a combination of DJ blocks and these little scrappy blocks would be really interesting.
