36 blocks make up a 'barn raising' layout. 9 barn raising layouts make the quilt center. I am just two blocks short of the 36 block barn rasings to be able to finish the quilt center. Of course this will be machine quilted because the thing is nearly ALL seams on the back side! Posted by Picasa

  5. It's gorgeous. Glad to see you using some of the itty bitties, and not just throwing everything away :) Making my head spin trying to figure out how many of those teeny log cabins you actually have to still make - maybe it's better not to know.

  7. I have a great aversion to paper piecing--I admire others work, but the idea of thinking upside down adn backwards is beyond me.
    These blocks and setting is wonderful.
